lantai kereta BANJIR (neo owners especially)

This is my post on my neo club forum board ( neo leak )

Leak problem (lantai kerete banjir) among neo owners is common. I've DIYing my neo by take out the door panel cover and investigate on where the heck is the water coming from.
This is becoz i noticed that the water came out from the door panel.
(There are 3 screws to open the door panel. 1 screw visible which is at the door handle (betol ka :D) where i usually put coins. Then pull out the door handle, u'll see another 2 screws.

This is what it look like after i open the door panel and the speaker screw. click the link..

video

1st u'll notice there is a 'drain' built to drain out water inside the door panel.
After i pull out the speaker, u can see there is 1 batang of i dont know what is that become 'agent' for the water to drop down.
The batang might be touch the back of the speaker and the water bleed into the speaker and finally bleed out through gap between speaker and door panel..and I keep bleeding..keep keep bleeding love..eh,ngarot lak. :P ;D

To solve it, i put a silicone between speaker and door panel like this..

and this

put back the door panel...settle problem aku..speaker pon makin kuat.DUM..DUM...DUM..ekekekeke..

p/s: sorry for my bad ENGLISH..tu la,cekgu ngajor g panjat pokok taugeh.. ;D :D
and sorry for the size of the picture..

OK..another post by my friend from neo club....

tapi yang ni rumit sikit..kene bogelkan dashboard kete..

The water leakage issue was finally settled after 5 days of dismantling, testing and rectifying.

damn heartache. second time in 1 year.

some intense testing taking place. the head of technician gave way for me to take a pic when he was sitting quietly in the car with all doors shut and two assistant waiting patiently for instructions from him to hose and pour water to the car.

The white thingy hugging the cables in the first picture was not clipped properly which caused water to leak in during heavy downpour. you could tell the diffrence in colour of the sponge whether they are in wet or dry condition.

nothing was wrong with that area that was covered in black body sealant before. just that it does not look properly sealed and don't look steady so not worth risking it. i did it myself. :D

The 2 pictures above were the main culprit of the 1 year agony that i was in ; splashing sound from the air-con blower during or after heavy downpour when the car was moving. i know its hard to imagine where exactly that pic is taken from but i will try my best to explain. The first picture show the area that serves as an air-tunnel for the blower to su*k air from outside. the bald welding spots were not visible unless water starts to drip from the crack lines. The second pictures shows black body sealant being applied to the bad welding spots.

hope this will help you guys!!!
